Alfa Boulevard to Tango Boulevard

Traffic congestion on Interstate 6 (I-6) through the City is substantial during peak traffic hours. This congestion causes travel delay and is also a significant factor that contributes to crashes. Major physical improvements to I-6, such as adding lanes and reconfiguring interchanges, is costly and can be difficult because of the development that exists along most of this highway. The I-6 Corridor Congestion Management Project is investigating alternative ways to reduce recurring congestion and improve safety on the segments of I-6 from Alfa Boulevard to Tango Boulevard.
